Welcome to the Seymour Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading website. Our program is designed to help your children to understand the game of football & cheerleading, interact with other children, promote scholastics, create friendships, learn discipline and most of all, have fun!!

The Seymour Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading Program was established in 1965 and continues to inspire young athletes today.  The mission of Seymour Pop Warner is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports, in a safe and structured environment, while maintaining a balance of education, athletics and team work.  Through this active participation, the Seymour Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives. 

Seymour Pop Warrner requires all participants to maintain academic standard and is committed to instilling life long standards of teamwork, dedication and a superior work ethic.         
                          
Seymour Pop Warner has five teams of tackle football, competitive cheerleading and flag football which range in age from 5 to 15, older participants have been known to return and help help our younger kids strive for success

The Seymour Pop Warner Board of Directors would like  to congratulate the winners of the Pop Warner Little Scholars Football & Cheerleading N.E. Regional Scholastic All-Americans.  These student athletes have worked very hard to attain great things in the classroom and their academic achievement is an outstanding accomplishment that they should all be proud of.

2010 Returning Player Registrations

Registration dates for RETURNING football players, cheerleaders  & flag football will be held on the following dates:


Registrations are being held at the Seymour Community Center.

Friday March 26 - 6:00PM - 8:00PM 
Saturday March 27 - 11:00AM -1:00PM  



April registration dates for new players will be announced soon.

2010 Seymour Pop Warner Scholarship Forms

Seymour Pop Warner is pleased to announce that we are taking applications for our 2010 Scholarship. Criteria for eligibility is listed on the application and all submissions are due to us by May 1, 2010.  

Southern CT Pop Warner is also offering scholarships and they are also due back to the League by May 1, 2010.
